With the assistance of a group of friends & family, plus the helpful staff at Ferrari-Carano Winery, Eric planned out his surprise proposal months in advance: there’d be a beautiful setup, complete with photos of him and Thinh together, lush bouquets of flowers, and a lit “marry me” sign, all ready and waiting for the two of them to arrive just as the sun was setting over the western sky. A few months ago, we met up with Nate & Katie for their engagement photos. It was a pretty cold and overcast day if I recall correctly, quite unlike the warm, sunny Cloverdale weather on their wedding day at The Highlands Estate, but one thing that didn’t change even a tiny bit were their smiles and the way they looked at each other (ok those were two things).
