August was a whirlwind of weddings for us, and Kanwal & Harshad’s Outdoor Art Club wedding was a wonderful way to kick it off. Vanessa and Gerald first met just over a year ago, and they must have known from that moment on that they were meant for each other. When we met up to talk about their wedding earlier this year, they were as sweet as lovers could be, and so excited to be planning their wedding. Kristen & Brian came all the way from Maryland for their Muir Woods elopement in the redwoods. The beautiful California redwood trees are truly a sight to behold, and K&B had picked the perfect little spot tucked away in a corner, where their intimate ceremony would be witnessed by only the officiant, me, and mother nature. We shot Lauren & Rob’s engagement photos on New Year’s Day 2016, and what a great coincidence — New Year’s Day is when they had first started dating! We went to Muir Woods, which is such a gorgeous wooded grove, and even though it was packed, we managed to avoid the crowd and got some beautiful photos on our hike along the trail.
