Last weekend, Payton flew from her home in Alabama to visit a friend in San Francisco for a few days. Meanwhile, her super sneaky boyfriend Parker quietly made his way over from Tennessee. Brad & Brianna made a very special trip to the Marina last weekend: he brought her into the city to surprise her with a proposal at the Palace of Fine Arts! As photographers, we come to this beautiful spot quite often, but every story is so different and unique. Aditi & Timir’s engagement session was a two-part affair. For the first set of photos, they hopped on a rowboat and paddled around Stow Lake for some fun, relaxed photos around the park. It’s not something I do often, but I think we got some really cute photos! For the second set, they really wanted the perfect sunset. Vanessa and Gerald first met just over a year ago, and they must have known from that moment on that they were meant for each other. When we met up to talk about their wedding earlier this year, they were as sweet as lovers could be, and so excited to be planning their wedding. We’ve been involved in quite a few elaborate proposal stories, but Kabir’s plan involved shoots on three different days — definitely a very exciting first for us. If I had to pick one thing that really stood out about his proposal to Reet, it’s how absolutely meticulously he planned every move and every turn, and how it would eventually culminate in the actual Big Sur surprise proposal.
