E & E’s surprise proposal was the works! He had hired Captain Larry (Just Dreaming Yacht) for a private cruise on the San Francisco Bay with them and six of their close friends. What an incredible way to propose! Half Moon Bay is just a short drive down Highway 1 from our home in Pacifica, and offers some really beautiful scenery and quiet spots that can’t be found in San Francisco. On one of our weekends off, Annie and I took a walk along the Half Moon Bay coastal trail near the Ritz-Carlton, and we thought to ourselves what a wonderful place it would be for a proposal… so we were really excited when Amar contacted us and said he liked it too! Ryan & Mia made a day trip from Stockton to San Francisco one beautiful, sunny morning last weekend. Ryan came to propose to his lovely girlfriend, of course, while the unsuspecting Mia thought she was here for an innocuous work event. Ryan and his mom Lisa had put together a very well-done “Day on the Bay” flyer for a work cruise, departing from Pier 7, that they were to attend.

Once they arrived at the wooden pier, Ryan knelt down on one knee and showed her the ring while a small group of onlookers paused to cheer. Mia had the absolute cutest reaction ever — look at the excitement and joy not only on her face, but also expressed by her hands and feet! Congrats you two!

We absolutely adored Alisha & Andrew’s travel-themed wedding at Elliston Vineyards 🙂 Theirs has to be one of our favorite weddings to date! Rudy is the kind of person who’s very precise, specific, and knows exactly what he wants. It made working together on this shoot so smooth and easy, and I’m sure Zoey feels very lucky to have someone like him! He had it all planned out — just before the proposal, they spent an afternoon at the de Young Museum, followed by a relaxing, romantic walk around Stow Lake. After passing a small pagoda, a calm waterfall, and a myriad of couples on paddleboats, Rudy and Zoey crossed an idyllic stone arch bridge to the spot where he proposed.
