Coming all the way from Texas, Timil & Komal visited our beautiful city of San Francisco last weekend. What better place to propose than on the shores of Crissy Field with the Golden Gate Bridge spanning across the Bay as the backdrop?

After arriving at Crissy Field, we followed the couple down the trail along the beach and snuck in a few shots here and there while Timil & Komal walked and talked. Ryan followed Catherine to California from Omaha over a year ago. He just moved back to Omaha the weekend after our photo shoot, and this time, Catherine will follow him there. They decided to have their save-the-date photos taken at Baker Beach to document their wonderful journey together here in the Bay Area. The day was a little overcast which made Catherine’s dress color pop in the photos (really pretty!) AND more importantly, we got the whole beach completely to ourselves and got some great shots! Shubhro planned a big surprise for Sadhana on her birthday! He sent a limo to pick her up for a special birthday dinner in San Francisco. Little did she know, there was going to be a detour — Shubhro was going to pop the question at the Palace of Fine Arts, with a rose bouquet nearby, flower petals scattered on the ground, and love notes pinned to the big tree waiting for her! Over the Fourth of July weekend, Roy and Claire came all the way from Singapore to visit San Francisco. The pair had first met at the Fairmont Singapore where Roy works as a hotelier, so it was fitting for him to propose to his girlfriend atop the balcony of the Fairmont San Francisco‘s penthouse suite. On the morning before they were to leave the city, Roy used “touring the hotel” as his cover for leading Claire up to the gorgeous penthouse unit and onto the balcony with a stunning view of the San Francisco skyline. Hannah and Daren live in the city and took me to a hidden spot in their neighborhood — the colorful tiled steps on 16th Ave. We walked over the top of the steps and around a hill that had a breathtaking view overlooking San Francisco, and we ended our session at Sutro Baths as the sun set over the Pacific Ocean.
