We recently had the pleasure to work with Jizhe and Jin for their pre-wedding photos. We started off at Stanford University, where Jin goes to school, and a few of their friends even came to keep them company and cheer them on. Then we headed to San Francisco to shoot at both ends of the Golden Gate Bridge, at Crissy Field, Cavallo Point, and the Marin Headlands. Although these spots were packed with crowds of people that weekend, there was nothing some strategic shooting and editing couldn’t fix 🙂 We got a ton of great photos!

Katie and Alfred asked me to take their engagement photos and I was so happy to run around with this beautiful couple! They were very comfortable in front of my cameras and I could tell the deep love between them by the way they looked at each other! Katie is really sweet and Alfred is a caring gentleman — a perfect match! Their wedding will be in Miami next year with friends and family flying from everywhere. I’m sure it will be a perfect day full of joy and I’m really happy for you two!

We had the chance to shoot some beautiful engagement photos for Aubrianna and Daniel in front of the Golden Gate Bridge. They travelled from Las Vegas and we wanted to be sure to give them some of the best views in San Francisco, which is a special city to them as it is where Aubrianna’s dad was born. Luckily, the fog was completely cleared when we started to shoot and the sun was setting right behind the bridge, giving us a dramatic golden-orange sunset! [ read more … ]

Casey and Elisse are engaged! Woohoo! Casey planned everything ahead of time and we went through the whole proposal scene-by-scene by email before the big day.

Elisse had planned to visit the Ferry building that morning, so to make it all seem natural, we picked Pier 7 to be the perfect location for the proposal. I love how Elisse was completely overwhelmed with excitement and happiness. She didn’t realize we were photographing them the whole time until we jumped out and screamed “congratulations”!
