These two college sweethearts, now living in Hong Kong, took a trip back to California a couple of weeks ago. For their engagement photos, we walked around Foothills College where they first met and got some really cute shots in a classroom and around campus. Rudy and Sophie’s story goes back several years to before Rudy was a student at Stanford. When Annie and I met Rudy a couple days before he proposed, he described Sophie as the special one who helped drive his current ambitions and gave him the motivation to pursue graduate studies at Stanford, so it was only appropriate that he proposed to her on campus. On the morning of the big day, he came by to drop off some roses and champagne with us, and we brought those to Stanford Memorial Church along with speakers to play his special request — Endless Love by Lionel Ritchie & Diana Ross. Little Xavier is 6 months old!! He has leveled up from his toothless stage — he officially has two teeth now!! Xavier loves Mommy’s singing and Daddy’s cuddle, enjoys pulling Mommy’s hair and giggles to all the silly things I say to him. I was screaming “sooooo cute” in my usual high-pitched voice constantly while editing these photos and David had to find a headset for that 😀 Now let’s see how cute Xavier’s pictures are!

Stefanie and Johnson met in Austria and they’ve been dating long distance. I’m so happy to capture their love for each other and I had so much fun watching them running around, laughing, and doing lots of jumping. Love their passion and energy!!

Their wedding is going to be in Vienna this year and it’s going to be a fun celebration, I just know so! 🙂 Congrats Stefanie and Johnson!

We recently had the pleasure to work with Jizhe and Jin for their pre-wedding photos. We started off at Stanford University, where Jin goes to school, and a few of their friends even came to keep them company and cheer them on. Then we headed to San Francisco to shoot at both ends of the Golden Gate Bridge, at Crissy Field, Cavallo Point, and the Marin Headlands. Although these spots were packed with crowds of people that weekend, there was nothing some strategic shooting and editing couldn’t fix 🙂 We got a ton of great photos!
