Aditya’s proposal to Labdhi was to set be on the oceanside, on a little ledge with a picture-perfect view of the Golden Gate Bridge. He had arranged quite a bit in advance for 30ish of their friends & family to hide in the nooks and crannies of the trails down below the spot where he would ask his girlfriend to be his forever. Even though the proposal wasn’t a total shock — she had known he was going to pop the question sooner or later — I think Labdhi was still quite surprised at the flower petals leading to the spot, the “Labdhi will you marry me” wooden signs decorated with flowers, and of course, the crowd that came out of the bushes to congratulate them afterwards.

Congrats to Aditya & Labdhi on their most beautifully foggy San Francisco proposal!

Dom & Mae said their vows and tied the knot earlier this month with a tiny elopement. And in the midst of this global pandemic, the logistics were actually quite difficult! There was almost no place in the Bay Area to have a ceremony, so they went down to Santa Cruz. Although coronavirus-related restrictions kept me from documenting the ceremony itself, I’m so glad I got the opportunity to meet up with them afterwards for some outdoor elopement portraits in San Francisco and create these memories of their wedding day. Jay & Jenny originally wanted to start off their shoot at City Hall — but when we got there, we found that the building had just been evacuated and was closed for the day! So we quickly took a few photos outside, and then headed over to the other side of the city. It ended up working out really well, and they totally rocked these Legion of Honor pre-wedding photos! Last weekend, Payton flew from her home in Alabama to visit a friend in San Francisco for a few days. Meanwhile, her super sneaky boyfriend Parker quietly made his way over from Tennessee. To explain why he would have no cell phone reception for most of a day while he was flying, he told her that he would be out in the wilderness setting up deer cameras… there were lots of moving pieces for this proposal!
