This sweet couple flew all the way from their home in Calgary to San Francisco — where they had their first date four years ago. We had gotten so used to seeing the summer fog, and the especially-thick cover earlier that week, that when we arrived at Baker Beach to capture I&J’s proposal, the sight of the Golden Gate Bridge actually felt strange. Flying in all the way from New York, Daven & Anisa visited our beautiful city of San Francisco for a weekend trip. After a long, relaxing walk along Baker Beach in the presence of calm, soothing waves and the ever-present Karl the Fog, the couple took a selfie and then turned towards the Golden Gate Bridge. After making the rounds with Lauren & Zach through the Presidio and shooting some of their save-the-date photos along the way, we sped across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito to catch the sunset at Rodeo Beach. It’s their favorite beach for a getaway picnic and the view is just stunning! We had such a wonderful time with this beautiful couple and are so happy we had the chance to work with them. Join us in congratulating them on their upcoming wedding next year!

Having flown in all the way from Texas for the long Memorial Day weekend, Andrew planned on proposing to Anna in San Francisco with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background as a backdrop. As luck would have it, our friend Karl the Fog showed up… but though we weren’t able to see the bridge, the fog gave the beach a romantic, almost dreamy feel, and I especially love how Anna’s vibrantly-colored dress stands out in the photos!
