After making the rounds with Lauren & Zach through the Presidio and shooting some of their save-the-date photos along the way, we sped across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito to catch the sunset at Rodeo Beach. It’s their favorite beach for a getaway picnic and the view is just stunning! We had such a wonderful time with this beautiful couple and are so happy we had the chance to work with them. Join us in congratulating them on their upcoming wedding next year!

Having flown in all the way from Texas for the long Memorial Day weekend, Andrew planned on proposing to Anna in San Francisco with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background as a backdrop. As luck would have it, our friend Karl the Fog showed up… but though we weren’t able to see the bridge, the fog gave the beach a romantic, almost dreamy feel, and I especially love how Anna’s vibrantly-colored dress stands out in the photos! Congrats to this beautiful couple 🙂

While on a weekend trip to San Francisco for Heather’s birthday, this pair of high school sweethearts (together for nine years!) made their way out to Baker Beach for a special event. When Christiana and Mike told me that they were newly engaged, they really meant it! They got engaged on Dec 27th and we went out to a few beautiful locations in San Francisco for their engagement photos only three weeks later. They wanted this photo session to be romantic and fun, so we started out with a rowboat at Stow Lake. We definitely wouldn’t forget their two puppies (they are sooooooo cute), and I think the save-the-date photo with the puppies in this blog post is for sure one of my favs. The tide was crazy that day at the beach but C&M, running towards the water and getting totally soaked, didn’t mind at all. Austin and Brittany planned a destination wedding (in Mexico!!), and wanted to have their save-the-date/engagement photos taken near the Golden Gate Bridge. We drove along the windy road near Battery Spencer up to the top with the tunnels where Austin proposed, then headed back to Baker Beach to run around and bury our feet in the sand. Luck was with us, and instead of a typically foggy summer day in San Francisco, we got a stunningly beautiful sky!! [ read more … ]
