For his birthday, Michael told his girlfriend Teresa that he had made plans for brunch (but not really) at the Ritz-Carlton at Half Moon Bay. After a brief walk, the high school sweethearts reached a cliffside spot with a great view of the beach and ocean bluffs, but instead of Teresa giving Michael a gift for his birthday, he had one for her. Kevin worked very hard to make this surprise a perfect one for Alexa: he arranged for both families, half of whom flew in from out of town, to arrive early at the spot, where we then directed them into hiding down on the beach. When he and Alexa arrived at the bluff, Kevin gave a short and sweet speech (after Alexa first called him out for “being weird” 😂 — see this super cute moment in the video below), then asked her to marry him. One week ago, Sahil and Neha made their way down the trail from the Half Moon Bay Ritz Carlton for a coastal cliffside proposal that really could not have been any more perfect. This day was filled to the brim with the unbridled joy and laughter of not just the happy couple (of course), but also their families and even yours truly, the photographers. Half Moon Bay might be best known for its beaches and ocean, but it actually has a lot of variety to offer.
