Josephine & Jonathan’s Wedding at the California Academy of Sciences

Josephine & Jonathan’s wedding was an amazing, memorable celebration that we enjoyed absolutely every moment of. Their day started off at the Palace Hotel, where J&J shared a poignant set of private vows in the room, just the two of them, and it set the tone for everything that followed. From there we headed to Golden Gate Park, where we got caught some warm sunshine for photos in the Shakespeare Garden, before heading over to their wedding at the California Academy of Sciences. We as photographers really appreciate how photos mean so much to them and were very excited to capture some great memories! [ read more … ]

J&J’s first look was a very touching one, and after that we lost count of how many times Jeffrey cried and laughed at the same time throughout the day. The mansion was a perfect place for all of this plus lots of portraits for everyone — both the beautiful interior and clean exterior are just so ideal for photos!

Though this first part of their wedding day was quiet and relaxed, it was a great lead-in to the ceremony & reception at The GlassHouse SJ, where the energy really picked up, especially during the reception which included a spectacularly-performed surprise lion dance as well as some pretty incredible dancing [ read more … ]
