I love that I get to live in a city that’s so loved by locals and tourists alike! Marcelo & Nathaly came to San Francisco all the way from England for an early spring trip, and while they were here they stopped by for a visit to Baker Beach. It was such a gorgeous day, with just enough sun for a good view but perfectly soft for beautiful portraits. (Well, at least I thought the weather was nice. Flying all the way from the east coast, John & Stephanie visited Baker Beach last weekend for a walk along the beach. Their timing was absolutely perfect — early enough for the sun to still be barely above the horizon and give us a bit of light, yet late enough for most of the crowds to have cleared out. Moments after the proposal, the lights along the Golden Gate Bridge turned on, giving us a colorful, pretty backdrop for some photos. [ read more … ]

For their anniversary last month, Jenny and Rob planned a “babymoon” trip to San Francisco. While they were in town, we met at Baker Beach for a sunset photo session for them. J&J’s engagement session was a dream! I still can hardly believe how magical the day was. When I woke up that morning, the fog was so incredibly thick that I actually called to see if they wanted to reschedule, and they decided to go through with it anyway. When we arrived at Baker Beach, we were greeted by one of the clearest, most beautiful skies of the season! For the next couple of hours, we covered some picturesque spots around San Francisco and had a lot of fun in the process. I really loved their props, especially the cheerful sun and cloud balloons, and am overjoyed with how great they look in these photos. Take a look below!
