This engagement shoot was an absolute dream for us. Carmen & Michael had the great idea of doing their engagement photos inside the San Francisco ISAIA store on Maiden Lane, where they often visit to shop and enjoy some drinks. It’s an Italian luxury menswear brand located in a unique, beautiful building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, and from ceiling to floor, this place is pure eye candy for a photographer. Peyton wanted to make his first visit to San Francisco with Bianca an extra special one for them to remember for a lifetime. He didn’t originally intend for this to be a Fairmont rooftop garden proposal — originally, Peyton had planned to pop the question along the edge of the San Francisco Bay, but the weather forecast started looking worse and worse and had us looking for alternatives. Luckily, they were actually staying at the Fairmont Hotel, which was fantastic because its beautiful garden with a sweeping view of the San Francisco skyline was just a short walk from their room! While on a short excursion to the west coast, Joe brought his girlfriend Carol back to his old home in the Bay Area. Their route here was filled with stops at all of the scenic spots throughout the city, and before heading off to Napa, they finished off their stay in San Francisco with a hike down to Marshall’s Beach.
