I met up with Gabrielle & Adam a few days ago for their engagement session and I’m so excited to share some photos! They both enjoy grabbing a drink and chilling together, so to incorporate that into their photos we started off at the Virgin Hotel. The hotel is a meticulously-decorated, perfectly classy setting for photos, and it actually just opened its doors a couple of months ago. (Thanks Virgin for letting us snap a few photos in your space!)

After that, we headed to Baker Beach to catch the sunset and some views of the waves and Golden Gate Bridge. [ read more … ]

One of the best parts about my job, second to getting to know so many wonderful couples and learn their stories, is visiting new places! Sycamore Grove Park isn’t even far from home, and if you were driving by you might think it’s just another park — but inside, it’s absolutely wonderful for photos! Bruce and Hannah are cute, lovey, and total goofballs. We felt like the two of us had a lot in common with them (mostly the goofy part), and I think it helped make for a perfect engagement shoot! We started off at Gott’s Roadside at the Ferry Building, as food is a big part of their lives and they often like to spend time with each other there. (Side note: the garlic fries there are sooooooo good!) We kept it super casual and had a lot of fun, and I love the way their silly personalities light up in these. [ read more … ]

While on a trip to the Bay Area, Roshni’s family led her to a quiet trail along the ocean to watch the sunset… without telling her their true purpose. Her boyfriend Akshay had prepared a very sweet “will you marry me” sign, complete with flowers, around one of the turns on the path, and he hid behind the sign as she approached. [ read more … ]
