Weather can be a funny thing. As I was driving down from San Francisco for Savauna & J’s Point Lobos engagement session, the skies were perfectly clear and sunny. It wasn’t until I started to turn into the park that the thick fog suddenly creeped up on me!

But it’s actually kind of interesting, as all the fog gives the scene a peaceful, serene feel, and by fading everything else away, it naturally focuses all the attention on where it should be — Savauna & J! [ read more … ]

Though we live only 15 minutes from the base of Montara Mountain, last weekend was our very first time hiking all the way up. At 1800 feet, the peak of the mountain offers a stunning view of not only Montara and the beautiful mountains and rolling hills that surround the area, but you can also see San Francisco, Half Moon Bay, Pacifica, and the Pacific coastline.

On a sunny Saturday afternoon, Jeff & Leslie headed up Montara Mountain, taking a different route from the familiar trails they had gone up many times in the past. What a gorgeous couple and amazing sky! This has to be one of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen, and I’ve certainly seen more than my fair share of golden California sun.
