Matthew had the perfect surprise proposal planned for his girlfriend Athena. It was going to be in Carmel Valley, at a special spot with an absolutely majestic view of the valley below. Record-breaking wildfires had ravaged the California countryside and clouded the skies with smoke just days before the proposal, but that wasn’t going to stop him — if the coronavirus couldn’t keep them from getting engaged, then neither was the smoke. Lynn & Tony threw one heck of a party for their wedding at The Club at Ruby Hill… and looked like a flawless pair of models through all of it! JJ & Alex are probably the most incredible couple we’ve ever met. It’s just unbelievable how talented they are: both work in software by day and are skilled dancers by night (quite the combination!), Alex started a company that was later acquired, and JJ, the gifted artist, beautifully hand-painted a lot of their wedding items which you’ll see in the photos below. We’d been excitedly looking forward to Will & Sam’s wedding for over a year now. Ever since their proposal at the Palace of Fine Arts here in San Francisco and engagement session at UCLA where they first met (and I think that’s the farthest from home we’ve ever been for an engagement shoot!), we couldn’t have been more excited for their wedding day at The Club at Ruby Hill. Monica & Julian’s Fairview Metropolitan wedding in Oakland was as beautiful as it was special. The day started off in Daly City where they got ready separately, then we drove over to Crown Memorial State Beach for their first look — which was perfect, be sure to check out the little squeeze 😀 — and some family and bridal party photos.
