To help with planning his proposal, Nate enlisted the help of his good friends Richie & Jenny. They had actually planned another friend’s proposal in the past, so this wasn’t new to them!
A few weeks before the proposal, Richie, Jenny, and I met up in the hills of Berkeley to scout out a location. We found the perfect spot — a beautiful cliffside point overlooking Berkeley, Oakland, San Francisco, Sausalito, and the SF Bay. Basically the whole area around SF. But the day before the proposal went down, they actually went back with Nate and found an even better spot, one totally isolated from sightseers and hikers, and spacious enough to set up a picnic table. This is the story of a pair of high school sweethearts who finally tied the knot three weeks ago. In Abigail & Vaughn’s own words, here’s the short-and-very-sweet version:
Vaughn and Abigail met in high school. The word “met” is used loosely, because what we really mean is that we both thought the other was very cute, so of course we stayed as far away from each other as possible.

Diep and Khoa marked their 9th anniversary by tying the knot at Garré Winery’s Martinelli Event Center in Livermore, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Diep and Khoa met each other through her sister when they were still teenagers. Khoa would often visit Diep while she was working at the local mall kiosk — how cute is that!? Of course, they fell in love, and as they say, the rest is history… history which their guests happily unearthed and shared amongst family and friends on their wedding day as they mused over this beautiful love story. It’s not every day you hear a couple say “we met on Craigslist” when you ask them how they met, but it’s also not every day you meet this quirky and fun-loving couple, Lauren & Rob, for whom we had the pleasure of photographing for their engagement photos and on their wedding day at Purple Orchid Wine Country Resort & Spa.
