Journey was turning two years old! We followed him around Alamo Square in his cute “2” outfit and Pharrell’s happy hat and got some cute pics of him playing and dancing. Happy second birthday, Journey!

This is a special session for us. We were originally contacted by Anu’s sister to give Dhanesh and Anu a “save-the-date session” because this lovely couple is getting married this December in India. An hour before the session we got a call from Anu’s sister telling us there was a last-minute change of plan — Dhanesh was going to surprise Anu with a ring! We were sooo excited and rerouted to get this couple some roses 🙂 We told Anu for the first set of photos we wanted them to stand back to back with their eyes closed, and when Anu turned around and found out what was really going on, she was in complete shock. Abrar and Sarah came all the way from Toronto to visit this beautiful city, and Annie was excited to meet some fellow Canadians and to shoot this great moment for them! What touched us the most was the thought Abrar put into planning this moment, and also the ring — mined in Ontario and cut in Saskatchewan, representing their respective home provinces. Tina and Marty were so fun and relaxed in front of our cameras, and the nice sunny weather complemented the beautiful couple perfectly. We love how how happy and in love they look in these photos and can’t wait for their wedding!

Kristin and Brian are two dog lovers like us! Their three little pups didn’t come to our photo shoot because of the garden restrictions 🙁 We shot these photos at the Japanese Tea Garden where Brian took Kristin for their first date! And we can just tell how sweet they are together — Brian took really good care of Kristin for the entire session and even carried her in his arms over rocky paths. Congrats you two and we cannot wait for your July wedding!!
