Liz and Chris originally planned on having their photos taken at Ravenswood Historic Site in Livermore, but due to their early closing hours we changed our location to Pacifica State Beach. And I’m so glad we did because we got REALLY lucky that day — I’ve never seen Pacifica State Beach this empty before, as we were literally the only three people there that got to enjoy the gorgeous sunset that day! Ashwin flew from London to San Francisco last weekend to give Chai the sweetest surprise!

The two first met each other in London when they were 15, then reconnected a few years ago… which sounds uncannily similar to the story of yours truly! After lots of planning and help from Chai’s friends, Ashwin was ready to give her a huge surprise at the top of the Lyon Street Steps. Meet four-day-old Maximus — Xavier’s new little brother! It’s been a pleasure documenting Ruth’s family every few months for the past two years. I was so happy to meet this little guy and as you can see, so was his big brother!!

Joe & Stefanie held their wedding ceremony at the grand Stanford Memorial Church, and they hosted their reception at Dyker Beach Golf Course on the other side of the continent a week later in order to include all of their friends & family.
