Nicole & Amir’s Garden Valley Ranch wedding was the first time we visited this hidden gem of a venue, and it couldn’t have been with a more lovely couple! Nicole and Amir are probably our nerdiest bride & groom (and smartest too — but they won’t tell you that!), and we had a blast photographing their wedding. It’s strange how some long wedding days can go by so quickly, and Jeffrey & Julie’s wedding was definitely one of those. We met up with them in the morning at Hayes Mansion, where the emotional tone for the rest of the day was quickly set with Julie’s reveal with her bridesmaids & bridesmen, followed by her very heartfelt speech thanking each of them for being a part of her journey over the years. J&J’s first look was a very touching one, and after that we lost count of how many times Jeffrey cried and laughed at the same time throughout the day. The mansion was a perfect place for all of this plus lots of portraits for everyone — both the beautiful interior and clean exterior are just so ideal for photos!

Though this first part of their wedding day was quiet and relaxed, it was a great lead-in to the ceremony & reception at The GlassHouse SJ, where the energy really picked up, especially during the reception which included a spectacularly-performed surprise lion dance as well as some pretty incredible dancing [ read more … ]

After postponing their wedding for two years due to the pandemic, Tim and Kim finally got to have their day at their original wedding venue with five of their closest friends.
