It feels like just yesterday that we were photographing Emily and Michael’s beautiful surprise proposal in Napa. Fast forward a year and a half, and here we were again, this time celebrating their wedding at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort. Having met their families at the proposal and spent the previous day with everyone at their church ceremony and welcome reception, we were surrounded by so many familiar faces. E and F’s Vine Hill House wedding felt like such a natural reflection of their story together. They first started dating in 2020, during the era of socially distanced outdoor hikes. Since then, exploring nature together has remained a big part of their lives. We got a glimpse of that ourselves when we headed into the mountains of Portola Valley for their engagement photos, so it felt especially fitting to photograph their wedding surrounded by the beautiful greenery and vineyards of Sonoma County.
