Matt & Lauren’s Sunset Proposal at Ina Coolbrith Park

Matt brought Lauren back to Ina Coolbrith Park, one of San Francisco’s most iconic overlooks, where they had visited together before. On that earlier visit, Lauren had jokingly looked out over the skyline and said, “Wouldn’t it be funny if you proposed to me here?” Turns out, Matt had been paying attention.

As the city glowed in the warm colors of sunset, he got down on one knee and asked the question. Lauren’s reaction was every bit as emotional as the moment deserved, with tears, laughter, and the biggest smile.

But the surprises weren’t over.

After the proposal, while we were taking portraits for the two of them against the city backdrop, Lauren quietly leaned over and let us in on a secret: she had come prepared too. She had a ring hidden away for Matt. A few moments later, she pulled it out, surprised him right back, and proposed in return!

With the San Francisco skyline glowing behind them and two new rings between them, we spent the rest of the evening capturing portraits of their post-proposal joy.
