Luke & Victoria’s Montara State Beach Sunset Surprise Proposal

Luke & Victoria’s proposal at Montara State Beach was an evening straight out of a movie — dramatic coastline, soft sunset light, and the sweetest little surprise waiting at the edge of the cliffs.

Luke brought Victoria down toward the overlook as if it was just another golden hour stroll, but a few of their friends had already been hard at work setting up a cozy scene on the rocks: a blanket laid out neatly, candles glowing, and flowers adding the perfect pop of color.

As Victoria stepped closer and realized what was happening, her expression said it all. Luke took her hands and gave a heartfelt speech, and when he dropped to one knee, the whole world seemed to pause for a second — waves crashing below, wind in the air, and dreamy, golden light wrapping around them. After the “yes,” we spent a little time taking portraits along the coastline, soaking in the just-engaged glow… and then headed down to celebrate with the friends who helped make it all happen.
