Jihan & Catherine’s San Francisco City Hall Private Elopement
Jihan & Catherine chose one of San Francisco’s most iconic spaces for their just-them (plus a few favorite people) celebration, a San Francisco City Hall private elopement. Catherine’s sleek white dress and Jihan’s classic black-and-white look felt right at home among the classic architecture, while pops of celebratory red from their families added some contrast to the scene.
We methodically hit up all of my favorite corners of City Hall — a stroll through the quiet corridors, a dance along the sun-lit balcony, a spin at the base of the grand staircase, and a sweet moment framed by the archways. Then, with a small circle of loved ones, they tied the knot in a very short-and-sweet ceremony. Afterwards, they newlyweds marched cheerfully outside before sharing a few more smiles on the crosswalk with City Hall standing behind them.
Alongside the photos, we also filmed a short highlight video that you can see at the bottom, a tiny time capsule of a perfectly simple, beautifully elegant City Hall elopement and the cute moments surrounding it.
Jihan & Catherine, thank you for letting us witness your day in such a timeless place, and congratulations!
