Paul & Mariana have been living in the Bay Area for a few months for work. Their family is heading back to Canada in the spring so they wanted a family session in front of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Such a beautiful family, and don’t you just love their outfits?! The funny thing is that the kids’ outfits stayed clean for only one photo, then they rushed to the water and started to have fun — kids will be kids!! I loved their energy and the bond between the kids and their parents, and I sure enjoyed capturing their memories here in California!

Christian proposed to Daena at the end of the pier at the Municipal Wharf in Santa Cruz and of course she said YES!! Before the exciting moment happened, we followed them around the boardwalk like two sneaky paparazzi!

Christian and Daena just moved to LA a few months ago, and lived in the Peninsula area before that. Christian picked the wharf because of their personal history here. He prepared a two-day “scavenger hunt” for Daena that included some little stories and clues to different spots in the area, led her to some of the boardwalk amusement park rides, and finally, took her to the wharf where he popped the question. Isn’t that sweet?!! He even hand folded all the clues into three different shapes! We ended this perfect proposal session with a killer sunset. Congrats Christian and Daena!!

We had the chance to shoot some beautiful engagement photos for Aubrianna and Daniel in front of the Golden Gate Bridge. They travelled from Las Vegas and we wanted to be sure to give them some of the best views in San Francisco, which is a special city to them as it is where Aubrianna’s dad was born. Kris & Brandy tied the knot at the Chanslor Ranch in Bodega Bay! Brandy was a pro at crafting and made all the centerpieces and all of the bouquets & boutonnières herself!!! The rustic ranch with all the sweet personal touches was the perfect setting to exchange their vows. Sunflowers everywhere, LOVE! That wedding gown, LOVE! That wedding cake with sunflowers and horseshoes, LOVE! The cowboy boots and hats, LOVE! What’s not to love about this wedding?
