After making the rounds with Lauren & Zach through the Presidio and shooting some of their save-the-date photos along the way, we sped across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito to catch the sunset at Rodeo Beach. It’s their favorite beach for a getaway picnic and the view is just stunning! We had such a wonderful time with this beautiful couple and are so happy we had the chance to work with them. Join us in congratulating them on their upcoming wedding next year!

Julie and Quin are expecting their twins soon — a boy and a girl!! Does it get any better than that? I wish I were so blessed 😀 We strolled along the Linda Mar Beach trail right next to their home in our lovely city of Pacifica and spent the evening golden hour under pouring sunshine. Liz and Chris originally planned on having their photos taken at Ravenswood Historic Site in Livermore, but due to their early closing hours we changed our location to Pacifica State Beach. And I’m so glad we did because we got REALLY lucky that day — I’ve never seen Pacifica State Beach this empty before, as we were literally the only three people there that got to enjoy the gorgeous sunset that day! On a warmly-lit autumn afternoon, this lovely pair took a walk down Pier 7 at the Embarcadero where they had their first date. Weston & Laura now live in Austin, but first met in San Francisco so the city, and this pier especially, hold a special meaning to them.

Weston had prepared a great trip for the two of them — first a trip to Paris, where Laura must have kept wondering, “Is he going to propose? Is he going to do it?”; then a trip to SF where he popped the question (and where she said YES); and finally, a surprise trip to visit her family and share the great news. [ read more … ]
