Aditi & Timir’s engagement session was a two-part affair. For the first set of photos, they hopped on a rowboat and paddled around Stow Lake for some fun, relaxed photos around the park. Rudy is the kind of person who’s very precise, specific, and knows exactly what he wants. It made working together on this shoot so smooth and easy, and I’m sure Zoey feels very lucky to have someone like him! He had it all planned out — just before the proposal, they spent an afternoon at the de Young Museum, followed by a relaxing, romantic walk around Stow Lake. After passing a small pagoda, a calm waterfall, and a myriad of couples on paddleboats, Rudy and Zoey crossed an idyllic stone arch bridge to the spot where he proposed. When Christiana and Mike told me that they were newly engaged, they really meant it! They got engaged on Dec 27th and we went out to a few beautiful locations in San Francisco for their engagement photos only three weeks later. They wanted this photo session to be romantic and fun, so we started out with a rowboat at Stow Lake. We definitely wouldn’t forget their two puppies (they are sooooooo cute), and I think the save-the-date photo with the puppies in this blog post is for sure one of my favs. The tide was crazy that day at the beach but C&M, running towards the water and getting totally soaked, didn’t mind at all.
