When Neal shared his DIY proposal plan with me, I have to admit that I initially felt a mix of excitement and concern. The idea of a wooden arch, torches, candles, and flowers sounded lovely, but I couldn’t help but wonder about the potential challenges. What if setup took longer than expected? The only thing we enjoy more than photographing proposals… is photographing proposals for someone who’s highly organized and is a detailed planner! Jonny set up the perfect proposal for his girlfriend Anne and executed it exactly as planned, with the help of his brother and his wife, who had flown from New York, to place a few key items on the ground where he would ask the question.
