We were beyond happy when we heard from Teryn and David a few months after their wedding, telling us that they were expecting an addition to the family! “Fwd: FW: National Championship Project” — that was the subject line of an email that Jack got from Stanford, inviting his girlfriend Nicole, a Stanford alumna and tennis champion, to participate in a profile for the athletics department to celebrate 40 years of Stanford national championships. All she had to do was schedule a time to visit Stanford to meet with some photographers on campus.

Meet Aurelia, the most adorable little baby girl with the cutest curly hair and chubbiest round cheeks! I had the pleasure of photographing Tina and Keith’s little family, and I enjoyed spending every moment with them under this beautiful sunset. Aurelia is almost 11 months old now, and she’s already starting to walk! She also loves to pull on Mama’s hair and play with those sparkly earrings. Aside from being a great mom, I’m told that Tina is also an exceptional baker, and we’re looking forward to tasting one of her cakes at a wedding we’ll be photographing next year — what a small world!
