Conor and Kristin made the drive down from Sonoma to meet up with us for an early morning engagement shoot, even though it was right during the middle of raging wildfire season. (You can even see the haze in some of the photos.) We started off at a completely empty beach, as if it was reserved just for them, and then headed over to Lovers’ Lane in time to catch the morning sun peeking through the trees like we were in a magical forest. Just last month, we met Shabeg and his now-fiancee Nav for their surprise proposal on the Fairmont Hotel rooftop. Last weekend, we drove out to Pescadero for their engagement shoot so they could have everything ready for their wedding — which is in less than two weeks! That’s some efficient wedding planning!

For the first half of this session, we took a set of playful and fun photos along the coast at Pescadero State Beach (including that mini-canyon thingy that’s just absolutely wild), and afterwards headed south for some Pigeon Point Lighthouse engagement photos, which are some of my favorites from their shoot. Kim & Raoul met in one of my favorite cities in the world — Vancouver! Maybe I had even bumped into them unknowingly many years back when I lived there too 😀 For their engagement photos, we hit up the very distinctly San Francisco location of Baker Beach for their beach sunset engagement session. There’s a great amount of variety here, with woods, beach, and a Golden Gate Bridge view all within a few minutes’ walk. It was super empty that day, and it was as if they had the whole beach to themselves!
