For his birthday, Michael told his girlfriend Teresa that he had made plans for brunch (but not really) at the Ritz-Carlton at Half Moon Bay. After a brief walk, the high school sweethearts reached a cliffside spot with a great view of the beach and ocean bluffs, but instead of Teresa giving Michael a gift for his birthday, he had one for her. Last weekend, Keanu and Gabby went on a little hike in the Marin Headlands, making their way down to the beach at Kirby Cove. He brought along a bag with some stuff for a picnic. “But how are we going to picnic without a blanket?” Gabby wondered… well, ask and ye shall receive, because unbeknownst to her, we had already made our way down to the beach with a blanket, bouquet, and champagne in a bucket of ice, ready and waiting! Kevin worked very hard to make this surprise a perfect one for Alexa: he arranged for both families, half of whom flew in from out of town, to arrive early at the spot, where we then directed them into hiding down on the beach. When he and Alexa arrived at the bluff, Kevin gave a short and sweet speech (after Alexa first called him out for “being weird” 😂 — see this super cute moment in the video below), then asked her to marry him. The Golden Gate Bridge is a favorite of travelers visiting San Francisco, and Alex decided it’d make a great backdrop for a proposal to his girlfriend Amanda. He had actually planned this almost half a year in advance, giving us plenty of time to discuss a variety of possible locations and their differences.
