Lorna & Laurent’s Sunset Maternity Photos at Baker Beach
Lorna and Laurent met me at Baker Beach for a breezy maternity session, with soft clouds adding extra flair and texture to the sunset sky. The warm light and gentle waves gave us the perfect backdrop as they walked, laughed, and took in these last moments before baby arrives. Behind the camera, it really felt like photographing two models — they gave me so much movement and expression to play with in every frame, and my cameras absolutely adored every moment of it!
Victor & Karen’s Black Sands Beach Surprise Proposal
Victor planned the perfect misdirection: a weekend bike ride with friends over the bridge and along the coast, as they’ve enjoyed doing in the past. They started their trip with a visit to Point Reyes, where Quinn got down on one knee and proposed. After a celebratory few days sipping and strolling through Napa, they headed back toward San Francisco for the final leg of their trip, and we met up at Montara State Beach for this photo shoot. Vivian & Sam’s Sunny San Francisco Photoshoot
Vivian and Sam had just gotten married under the classic bright SoCal sunshine, so for their San Francisco portraits they asked for the same warm, sun-soaked vibe. We skipped golden hour and met at midday — blue skies or bust! We started at SF City Hall, letting the clean architecture and soft window light show off their newlywed glow, then headed out to the coast for some fun outdoor shots. [ read more … ]
