Paul & Mariana have been living in the Bay Area for a few months for work. Their family is heading back to Canada in the spring so they wanted a family session in front of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Such a beautiful family, and don’t you just love their outfits?! The funny thing is that the kids’ outfits stayed clean for only one photo, then they rushed to the water and started to have fun — kids will be kids!! I loved their energy and the bond between the kids and their parents, and I sure enjoyed capturing their memories here in California!

Dave proposed to Gretchen this past Saturday at Baker Beach!!! We were thrilled to be a part of this special moment 🙂

We sneakily followed them from the parking lot to the beach after making eye contact with Dave to let him know that we were ready. As soon as I sensed the big moment coming, I flung off my flip-flops and ran to a good vantage point. From that second on, our shutters worked NON-STOP! Every second was so emotional and precious that we just couldn’t get enough. And OMG that ring… is to die for! Good job Dave! And congratulations you two!!
