As he was planning his surprise proposal and considering possible locations, Cole decided he wanted a location with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. Since San Francisco has been the home of their relationship together, the bridge is the perfect symbol of their past, present, and future. This particular spot at Cavallo Point is actually one I knew about but had never been to myself, so it was great to shoot a very unique set of proposal photos for Cole & Madeline plus a few more fun photos afterwards! I loved her reaction — so happy, surprised, and genuine. Congrats to both!

Back to where it all started: Jonathan brought Kate on a special date one week ago to Toyosu, where they had originally shared their first date together as boyfriend & girlfriend — and now, their last date as boyfriend & girlfriend before taking the next step to become fiancé and fiancée.
