Shirley & Timothy are getting married next year in Pleasanton, and for their engagement photos, we visited the Palace of Fine Arts together a couple weeks ago. It’s a classic San Francisco location, perfect for photos with a little bit of variety, especially with the golden fall light pouring down on them. I especially loved the cute little moments when Timothy would goof off a bit to get Shirley to giggle, and I can’t wait to see these two again in a year!
August was a whirlwind of weddings for us, and Kanwal & Harshad’s Outdoor Art Club wedding was a wonderful way to kick it off. It was actually a multi-day event involving a fusion of Indian and Muslim traditions, and we had a blast capturing all the love and joy among our wonderful couple, their family, and all their friends and guests. Last week, we met up with Kaila and Peter at two special spots for their engagement photos in Tiburon: the San Francisco Yacht Club for some photos in the marina and on the family boat, and at Old St. Hilary’s Church, which is a cute little chapel situated atop a beautiful grassy hill. We love it when proposals include dogs, and Brett’s plan included theirs in the cutest way. Their pup is like a daughter to Jessica, so Brett had a dog tag custom engraved to read, “Mom, please tell Brett yes,” and carried it with him as the three of them made their way down to Moss Beach.
