Vivian and Terrence’s San Francisco City Hall wedding photo shoot was quite a different one. I spent the entire day with them, starting off in the morning at the JW Marriott where they got ready, then over at City Hall where they got married while surrounded by their family and close friends. Maggie & Joseph first met each other at UC Berkeley, and later both moved to Hong Kong after finishing school. They flew back to Berkeley for their engagement session, taking me on a trip around campus and showing me a few spots I had never been to, like the Hearst Memorial Mining Building and its stunningly beautiful and grand interior. Cavallo Point and Twin Peaks made a great combination of locations for this engagement shoot. With a beautiful San Francisco skyline and Golden Gate Bridge behind us near the Presidio Yacht Club, and a twilight view looking down on a lit-up city at Twin Peaks, these backdrops were a perfect complement for each other. Weather can be a funny thing. As I was driving down from San Francisco for Savauna & J’s Point Lobos engagement session, the skies were perfectly clear and sunny. It wasn’t until I started to turn into the park that the thick fog suddenly creeped up on me!
