Edgar’s Proposal to Amber at Baker Beach | San Francisco Surprise Proposal Photographer
Edgar drove his now-fianceé out a couple hours from Fair Oaks, under the pretense that they were going horseback riding on the beach. Even though they had been together for almost a decade already, he was great at hiding his intentions until the very last second.
Since the weather was so nice and the proposal happened in the early afternoon, we encountered a LOT more, um, distractions (read: nudists) than expected. We usually blend in easily with others on the beach, but that day we seemed to be two of the very few fully-clothed people! Annie even laid down on the sand pretending that she was sunbathing, with a long dress on and two cameras strapped to her. Luckily, Edgar and Amber thought the “scenery” was hilarious, and Annie & I were able to line up our shots to avoid most of them (and edited out a few who snuck in), but we left one in this set just for fun 😛
Here’s a choice quote from Amber to Edgar, which I’ll never forget: “I did notice that you were kind of nervous, but I figured that was just because of the number of p*****s!”
After the big surprise and the happy tears, we walked around the beach for a portrait session. We found a quiet place and took some great photos of this gorgeous couple! Hope you all love their photos as much as we do!
