Cristian & Arra’s Treasure Island Surprise Proposal

Cristian and Arra’s proposal on Treasure Island came together with the help of someone very important: Arra’s mom. She set the whole surprise in motion by visiting San Francisco for Mother’s Day weekend and telling Arra she wanted to spend the evening with her. That little plan brought them out to Treasure Island, while Cristian and a few family members quietly made their way there too, staying out of sight until the timing was just right.

As Arra and mom took photos by the water, she was most certainly not expecting Cristian to appear. With the San Francisco skyline behind them and the evening light starting to turn soft and golden, he walked up with flowers, got down on one knee, and asked one of the biggest questions of his life.

What made this proposal even sweeter was what happened right after. As soon as Arra said yes, the family came rushing in to celebrate with them. It turned the moment from intimate surprise into a full, joyful family celebration in an instant, and you could feel just how loved these two are.

Between the glowing sunset, the dramatic clouds, the rocky shoreline, and that beautiful view back toward the city, the Treasure Island setting gave this scene a cinematic feel without losing the real emotion of the moment. After the hugs and happy tears, we took a few more portraits together while the light kept getting prettier and prettier.

Cristian and Arra were so sweet together the entire time, and this proposal had such a wonderful mix of romance, surprise, and family. A Treasure Island proposal with a skyline view is already hard to beat, but having the people closest to them there to celebrate made it even more meaningful.
