Nirvani & Rachael’s Palace of Fine Arts + Baker Beach Proposal

Nirvani had been planning this proposal since last year, and it all came together so beautifully during their spring trip to San Francisco. He and Rachael were visiting from Texas for a few days, and the Palace of Fine Arts was the perfect place for this moment: elegant, iconic, and uniquely romantic in the soft evening light.

When he got down on one knee in front of the rotunda, Rachael’s reaction was the sweetest mix of surprise, joy, and emotion. The whole scene felt timeless: the grand architecture behind them, the warm glow coming through the columns, and the two of them completely wrapped up in the moment. It was clear how much thought Nirvani had put into every part of this, and how worth the wait it was.

After the proposal, we headed over to Baker Beach for a second part of the session, which gave their gallery some added variety and contrast. From the classic feel of the Palace of Fine Arts to the soft colors and ocean views at the beach, the evening felt like such a lovely little tour of San Francisco.
