Eugene & Harriet’s San Francisco Surprise Proposal at Fort Funston

With its sweeping ocean views and beautiful coastal scenery, Fort Funston is easily one of my favorite spots for a surprise proposal in San Francisco. If you’ve ever been here, you know that the wind can be pretty wild, but I think that only added to the magic of Eugene and Harriet’s proposal moment.

As the Pacific Ocean stretched out behind them and the sun glowed red just over the horizon, Eugene got down on one knee and completely caught Harriet by surprise. Her reaction was absolutely priceless! She was so excited that she could hardly believe what was happening, and the moment she said yes, she practically jumped into Eugene’s arms, and he swept her right off her feet! It was such a beautiful, spontaneous moment, and their happiness was absolutely contagious.

The wind kept things interesting throughout our little photo session, but I actually love how it added so much movement and life to their photos. Between the warm golden light, the colorful coastal landscape, and all those genuine smiles and laughter, it was such a memorable evening. Congratulations, Eugene and Harriet!
