Quinn & Nikita’s Montara State Beach Engagement Photos
Quinn and Nikita hopped coasts for the most California kind of week: towering cliffs, wine country sunsets, and ocean breezes. They started their trip with a visit to Point Reyes, where Quinn got down on one knee and proposed. After a celebratory few days sipping and strolling through Napa, they headed back toward San Francisco for the final leg of their trip, and we met up at Montara State Beach for this photo shoot. We skipped golden hour and met at midday — blue skies or bust! Jorge and Fernanda flew in from Mexico with one big plan: a sunset Slackers Hill proposal overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco skyline, two of the most beautiful sights that California has to offer. September often brings coastal fog, but the winds were fully with them for this occasion: not only was there beautiful sunset light at Slackers Hill, but just enough fog built up in the distance to give us an almost surreal backdrop. Kunal planned the sweetest oceanside surprise for Devanshi at one of our favorite places on the coast — Mori Point in Pacifica. In the soft afternoon light, with waves rolling against the cliffs, he pulled out a delightfully unique heart-shaped wood-and-resin “ocean” ring box (complete with a little sea turtle!) and dropped to one knee.
