Alan and Irene’s wedding day was a love letter to Sacramento, where they each grew up and where they first met in high school. Their wedding day started off at The Citizen Hotel, right in the heart of downtown. Getting ready there already felt special, but the real magic happened when they tucked away for their first look in the hotel’s little library. Shooting at new locations and getting the creative juices flowing makes me happy, so I was super excited when Amelia and Adrian wanted to shoot at the library! This is a place that we’ve found ourselves spending a lot of time at lately, as it’s our kids’ favorite place to be, and I love that the library is a meaningful place for our couple as well, especially given that Amelia is a teacher.
