Fort Funston is an absolutely beautiful place to go for a walk and enjoy the sunset. Down on the beach, up on the cliffs, and everywhere in between, it’s all incredibly picturesque. For his Fort Funston proposal, Mark actually introduced us to a new spot, Battery Davis. It’s an old battery that doesn’t look too special at first, but walk through and you’ll be greeted with a beautiful (and quiet!) view of the Pacific Ocean from up on the cliffside. It was here that Mark chose to make his special moment with Cynthia, where he gave a lovely speech and asked her to marry him.

Charles had the perfect spot picked out for his proposal to his girlfriend Vivian: a spot beside the famed Pacific Coast Highway, up on a cliff overlooking the ocean near Monterey. For his birthday, Michael told his girlfriend Teresa that he had made plans for brunch (but not really) at the Ritz-Carlton at Half Moon Bay. After a brief walk, the high school sweethearts reached a cliffside spot with a great view of the beach and ocean bluffs, but instead of Teresa giving Michael a gift for his birthday, he had one for her. Kevin worked very hard to make this surprise a perfect one for Alexa: he arranged for both families, half of whom flew in from out of town, to arrive early at the spot, where we then directed them into hiding down on the beach. When he and Alexa arrived at the bluff, Kevin gave a short and sweet speech (after Alexa first called him out for “being weird” 😂 — see this super cute moment in the video below), then asked her to marry him.
