Uvas Canyon County Park holds a special meaning to Sue and Bryan: he had proposed to her at the top of the hill, and they’ll be getting married at the park this upcoming spring. So last week, we decided to do a venue walk-through and shoot their engagement photos at this extremely memorable place of theirs! I love how adventurous Sue and Bryan were 😀 It had been raining for a few days so the water in the creek was pretty high, and some paths were blocked by the water, but they didn’t mind sitting on the wet logs or climbing up on the big rocks so that we could get the best angles. The photos at the end, of course, were well worth the effort! David and I cannot wait to be back in a few months to capture their big day!

When Christiana and Mike told me that they were newly engaged, they really meant it! They got engaged on Dec 27th and we went out to a few beautiful locations in San Francisco for their engagement photos only three weeks later. They wanted this photo session to be romantic and fun, so we started out with a rowboat at Stow Lake. We definitely wouldn’t forget their two puppies (they are sooooooo cute), and I think the save-the-date photo with the puppies in this blog post is for sure one of my favs. The tide was crazy that day at the beach but C&M, running towards the water and getting totally soaked, didn’t mind at all. Vivian and Bin were here in San Francisco for their Christmas vacation and wanted some wedding portraits done in the city. You probably wouldn’t believe me if I tell you it was drizzling the whole time during our photo shoot, but their photos turned out gorgeous! The clouds made a perfect backdrop for their outdoor portraits, and of course, San Francisco City Hall is always beautiful no matter the weather. We shot Lauren & Rob’s engagement photos on New Year’s Day 2016, and what a great coincidence — New Year’s Day is when they had first started dating! We went to Muir Woods, which is such a gorgeous wooded grove, and even though it was packed, we managed to avoid the crowd and got some beautiful photos on our hike along the trail. Despite Sean working an out-of-town job and the two only seeing each other on weekends, he and Rochelle spent a precious day scouting out locations for their engagement photos to make this an extra-special shoot.
