Casey and Elisse are engaged! Woohoo! Casey planned everything ahead of time and we went through the whole proposal scene-by-scene by email before the big day.

Elisse had planned to visit the Ferry building that morning, so to make it all seem natural, we picked Pier 7 to be the perfect location for the proposal. I love how Elisse was completely overwhelmed with excitement and happiness. She didn’t realize we were photographing them the whole time until we jumped out and screamed “congratulations”! I photographed Ruth’s maternity session back in late July. About a month later little Xavier came to this world a little earlier than planned. So when Ruth contacted me, I was super excited to meet him!

He is so tiny that you just can’t help to love and protect him. Life is really precious and wonderful!

Meet Xavier… Ta-dah!

What a view, and what a lovely couple! Tommy proposed to Jiahui at Battery Spencer, where the view from the northern end of the Golden Gate Bridge was simply stunning. Tommy had EVERYTHING planned out meticulously weeks before the proposal! Not only did he visit several possible proposal locations the morning before, he actually visited them each twice… without arousing suspicion! On the morning-of, the couple arrived just as the fog was rolling out, giving us a clear view of the beautiful bridge. As you’ll see in the photos below, Tommy even made a book of memories to show Jiahui, and the last page told her to turn around — to find him surprising her with the ring. This was a very sweet proposal and mini engagement photo session, and congratulations to Tommy & Jiahui!

A & F’s wedding ceremony was held in the Santa Clara county chapel. It was a very touching one – there was not a dry eye in the room and their friend did an amazing job by singing All of Me to conclude the ceremony! The reception was then held at the rooftop patio at the Loft Bar & Bistro where many more of their friends joined in.

A & F, I adore the deep love between you, and I wish you two (and the little plus one that is on the way) all the best!! Congrats 🙂

Fred & Jessica flew in from the East Coast for their wedding in Marin County three weeks ago. Their wedding was a special one, with the ceremony being held under a canopy built by their family. The Outdoor Art Club‘s event coordinator did a great job with the beautiful floral arrangements, and I really loved Jessica’s stunning dress, especially from the back! Congrats to Fred & Jessica and the entire family!
