Have you ever met a couple for the first time yet felt that they were your longtime friends? Meet Kim and Brandon! They were madly in love and super laid-back and fun. And on top of all that, Kim is a singer and song writer (anyone who knows me would know how important singing is to me)! When Kim sang the song called “Feels Like Home” for Brandon during their ceremony, it touched my heart and I teared up. Her voice was beautiful!! Kim and Brandon made a lot of the wedding details themselves and we loved the Western-themed details throughout the whole wedding. When Tim first contacted me I knew this surprise proposal was going to be one of a kind! He originally set the proposal at the beautiful Auberge Du Soleil restaurant but unfortunately the venue has a policy that doesn’t allow professional photography. After some research, Tim found Viader Vineyards and Winery — a hidden Napa gem with breathtaking views overlooking the Valley. And thanks to the super accommodating staff there, they made sure things went as smoothly as possible. These two high school sweethearts followed each other from China to Switzerland before settling down together in California. We spent the morning in and around the city capturing Sarah and Ji’s love, hitting lots of iconic San Francisco locations: the Legion of Honor, Crissy Field and the Golden Gate Bridge, the Palace of the Fine Arts, and Stanford campus. Nels and Lindsey’s wedding was full of vibrant colors and adorable details. Lindsey was so thoughtful that she incorporated a piece of lace from her mother’s wedding dress into her bouquet, which made her “something old” extra special! They also had a super cute “ABC’s of Marriage Advice” scrapbook made by a room of kindergarteners, and it made their candy table extra sweet!! I also just have to mention that Lindsey and Nels met through music, karaoke to be specific. So they had a karaoke jockey instead of a traditional DJ at their wedding reception, and the couple gifted each other a song — touching and hilarious at the same time!

Meet Henry and Alicia’s sweet family! On a super windy afternoon, we strolled around Baker Beach and found some lovely spots for photos. I like taking traditional family shots, but lifestyle photography is my specialty. I love all the laughter, hugs, and kisses during each photo session that show my clients who they are as a family.
