Farhan & Amina’s Mt. Tam Morning Surprise Proposal

Farhan’s original plan was to propose to Amina at sunset on Mt. Tam, but Bay Area weather had other ideas! Despite beautiful weather throughout the day, a thick shroud of fog suddenly rolled in and swallowed up the views just as we were arriving. So we made the call to try again the next morning, and wow, did that decision pay off!

This time, we climbed above the fog and found ourselves looking out over an endless sea of white clouds beneath a perfectly clear blue sky. Farhan and Amina walked up a small hill, where he said a few words and dropped to one knee with an almost unbelievable view stretching out as far as the eye could see.

After she said yes, we spent a little more time taking some newly-engaged portraits on those rolling hills with the fog still rolling quietly below. Sometimes the fog really does work in our favor – I think it ended up giving Farhan and Amina something even more magical than we had originally imagined!
