Aaron & Alyssa’s Fort Funston Coastside Proposal

There are few places in the Bay Area that capture the feeling of the California coast quite like Fort Funston. Endless ocean views, rolling cliffs, and the sound of the waves below make it an easy favorite, especially for couples like Aaron and Alyssa, who both love the ocean and beach.

Aaron had the evening carefully planned. Before their dinner reservation, he suggested a walk along the cliffs, giving the two of them a chance to enjoy the coastline together. With soft sunlight peeking through the clouds and the greens, blues, and sandy tones of the landscape looking especially vibrant, it couldn’t have been a more beautiful evening.

When Aaron got down on one knee, Alyssa’s reaction was immediate and incredibly emotional. She was completely overwhelmed in the sweetest way, covering her face in disbelief before breaking into the biggest smile. Every emotion was written across her face in this moment, and it was such a joy for me to witness and photograph!
