DJ & Daniela’s Rose Garden Proposal with Mariachi Band

DJ and Daniela’s proposal at the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden had so many good things going for it from the start. The setting was already beautiful on its own, with the rose arches in full bloom and the evening light spilling through the garden, but DJ took it a step further and made the whole moment even more unforgettable by hiring a mariachi band to celebrate their engagement.

Watching the two of them walk beneath the rose-covered arch felt like the perfect lead-in to what was about to happen. As DJ got down on one knee, Daniela’s reaction was joyfully sweet. It was one of those proposals where we could feel the happiness immediately, and the garden made such a romantic backdrop for all of it.

And then came the mariachi band.

That detail made the whole experience feel so lively and personal. Instead of the moment ending with the ring, it opened up into celebration. DJ and Daniela got to soak it all in surrounded by music, roses, golden light, and the people closest to them — and also bystanders drawn in by the lively atmosphere! It gave the proposal such a fun, heartfelt energy that matched them so well.

Afterwards, we wandered through the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden for portraits, and everything looked incredible. The soft sunlight, the colorful blooms, and the smiles and glances they gave each other made every photo feel warm and alive. Between the beautiful location and the surprise mariachi performance, this was an incredibly memorable proposal from beginning to end. Congrats DJ & Daniela!
